Finding Pathways Through Divorce
Divorce Recovery Groups for Kids: Six-session groups for children and adolescents, designed to help understand and process feelings about divorce, connect with other kids having similar experiences, and learn good self-care and coping tools.
Divorce Recovery Groups for Men and Women: Two open support groups are currently available, one for men and one for women. These groups are support and growth-oriented, for the newly separated as well as for those dealing with divorce for some time.
Mediation: For parenting time plans in divorce and other related issues.
Consultation: For pre- and post-divorce co-parenting; child development issues, custody-dispute options, co-parenting communication.
Parental Responsibilities Evaluation (PRE): When divorcing or divorced parents are in disagreement about their children's parenting time schedule, the way decisions are made for their children, or some other significant issue, a Parental Responsibilities Evaluation (PRE) can be useful. This is a very intensive family evaluation which includes a report to the domestic court about findings and recommendations.
Psychological Evaluation: For personal interest and to supplement evaluations conducted by non-psychologist evaluators. Psychologists are usually trained to administer and interpret formal psychological testing. When a non-psychologist evaluator wants s a psychological evaluation to supplement data collection, the extra cost can run up to several thousand dollars. Because of my extensive experience as a custody and psychological evaluator, I am able to provide a "mini" evaluation, for insertion into the larger report, for a much lesser cost.
